Air Core Drilling Programme Completed at Spargoville (WA)
Tychean Resources Ltd (ASX: TYK) ( Tychean or Company ) is pleased to announce that it has completed a total of 185 Air Core drill holes for 4,234 metres at its Core Farm and Golden Orb East prospects at the Company’s wholly owned Spargoville Gold Project (Figure 1), in the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia.
The programme at the Core Farm prospect (Figure 2), comprised 165 holes for 3,021 metres of shallow, close spaced Air Core drilling planned to evaluate the significance and potential extent of interpreted paleochannel mineralisation intersected within previous drilling, including 2m @ 46.7g/t Au from 13m including 1m @ 92.6g/t Au from 14m and 1m @ 51.1g/t Au from 16m.
A smaller programme of Air Core drilling was completed at Golden Orb East, comprising 20 holes for 1,213 metres, to infill and further evaluate previously identified gold mineralised trends within previous drilling.
Due to an increase in demand at the laboratories, all results from the completed drilling are now expected to be received by mid June 2014.
