Drax Group plc (the Company) announces today it has purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 11 16/29 pence each through J.P. Morgan Securities plc.

The Company intends to hold the purchased shares in treasury.

Since 20 April 2018, the Company has purchased 3,439,401 shares at a cost (including dealing and associated costs) of £11,320,646.81.

Following the above transaction, the Company holds 3,439,401, of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 403,629,319 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
