Notification of Transactions of Directors,

Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility or Connected Persons

On 27 March 2019, Mr Will Gardiner, Chief Executive Officer, Drax Group plc transferred by way of an irrevocable gift, the beneficial interest in 41,345 ordinary shares in Drax Group plc to NPT (UK) Limited ("the Charity"), a registered charity in England and Wales. 

On the same date Mr Gardiner separately acquired 41,345 ordinary shares in Drax Group plc at a price of £3.7499 per ordinary share.

Following the transfer of shares to the Charity and the acquisition of shares, Mr Gardiner's total holding in Drax Group plc ordinary shares remains unchanged at 262,101.

Footnote:

Mr Gardiner is a donor and adviser to the Okeden Fund, a donor-advised fund at the charity NPT (UK) Limited. NPT (UK) Limited retains exclusive legal control over the assets of the Okeden Fund.  NPT (UK) Limited and its Board of Trustees have sole authority over the assets of the Okeden Fund, including all investment decisions and decisions regarding grant making. Mr Gardiner does not receive income from the Okeden Fund.
