This intimation was regarding the acquisition of 11,17,940 equity shares of Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Limited ('Company') by Gunupati Venkateswara Prasad – HUF, part of the promoter group of the Company, inter-se transfer from Mr. Gunupati Venkateswara Prasad, Promoter of the Company.

Consequent to the above transfer, the shareholding of Gunupati Venkateswara Prasad - HUF will increase from Nil to 11,17,940 (0.67%). The aggregate holding of the Promoter Group shall remain same post this transaction.

This is to inform you that Mr. Gunupati Venkateswara Prasad, Promoter of Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Limited ('Company'), intends to execute off market inter-se transfer of 11,17,940 equity shares of the Company by way of gift, to Gunupati Venkateswara Prasad - HUF which is also a part of the existing Promoter group of the Company.

Since this transaction is an inter-se transfer of shares amongst Promoter Group, it falls within the exemptions under Regulation $10(1)(a)(ii)$ of the Takeover Regulations.
