Dr. Hönle AG english
Ad hoc announcement transmitted by DGAP. The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– Hönle Increases Earnings in the First Nine Months Planegg/Munich, 16.08.2001 Despite the slowdown in the general economic growth the Dr. Hönle AG, leading provider of industrial UV-technology, could increase in the first nine months of the business year 2000/2001 both turnover and result in comparison to the same period of the previous year. Revenues in the first nine months increased by 34.2 % from 19,123 TDM in prior- year period to 25,663 TDM in the current business year. With revenues amount to 7,960 TDM in the third quarter, Hönle, however, didn’t reach the same sales as in the quarter before (= 8,505 TDM). The slight reduction results from the company’s strong focus on customer-specific project business, which leads to less continuous accounts. Due to the volume of orders till 30.06.2001 Hönle expects for the forth quarter 2000/2001 increasing revenues again. The earnings before interests and taxes (EBIT) in the first nine months of the current business year rose by 74.7 % to 4,485 TDM. The consolidated net profit in the same period grew from 1,197 TDM by 172.1 % to 3,257 TDM. The earnings per share were more than doubled – from 0.23 DM (0.12 Euro) in the first nine months of the previous year to 0.60 DM (0,30 Euro) in the current business year.
