NZX Regulation (“NZXR”) advises that, at the request of the company, it has placed a trading halt on Downer EDI Limited (“DOW”) ordinary shares. The trading halt was placed at 10:25am this morning.

DOW has sought the trading halt while the institutional element of an Accelerated NonRenounceable Rights Offer (“ANREO”) is undertaken.

The halt will remain in place until the earlier of:

• The release of an announcement relating to the outcome of the institutional component of the ANREO; or

• Market open on Wednesday, 22 July 2020.
