DOWNER AWARDED $70 MILLION CONTRACT AT TAN BURRUP

Downer EDI Limited (Downer) today announced it had been awarded a contract by Tecnicas Reunidas S.A. for work on the Technical Ammonium Nitrate Plant project (“TAN Burrup project”) located on the Burrup Peninsula, near Karratha in Western Australia.

The contract is valued at approximately $70 million and involves structural, mechanical, piping and electrical and instrumentation installation.

Downer will commence work immediately at TAN Burrup and the project is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2015.

Tecnicas Reunidas S.A. is an international contractor based in Spain which engages in the engineering, design and construction of various types of industrial facilities for a broad spectrum of customers throughout the world.
