Perth, Australia – Dotz Nano Limited (“Dotz Nano” or the “Company”) , a nano-technology company focusing on the development, manufacture and commercialisation of graphene quantum dots (GQDs), is pleased to announce that it has shipped its first commercial shipment of GQDs to Strem Chemicals Ltd. Strem Chemicals will market and distribute the GQDs mainly to the research market.

As previously announced, Dotz achieved first sales with the receipt of Strem’s purchase order for the resale of its graphene quantum dots.

Strem Chemicals is a privately–held company that manufactures and markets specialty chemicals of high purity. Its clients include academic, industrial and government research and development laboratories as well as commercial scale businesses in the pharmaceutical, micro-electronic and chemical / petrochemical industries.

Blue, Green and Cyan GQDs were shipped both in liquid and powdered form. A total of 2 litres of GQDs in liquid solvent and 5 grams of powdered GQDs.

Commenting on the announcement, Dotz Nano’s CEO Dr Moti Gross, stated: “Dotz Nano is rapidly penetrating the Graphene Quantum Dot market. We have processed our first shipment as part of our distribution agreement with Strem Chemicals. The first sales received from Strem demonstrate how we have progressed from research and development to full commercialisation. To our knowledge, this is also the first ever commercial shipment of graphene quantum dots over 100ml in size and the largest batch to have ever been produced.

We are making graphene quantum dots on a serial production level to meet current and future demand, and we look forward to announcing future sales as they occur.”
