GQDs shipped are in powdered and in liquid form to local South Korean distributor. Total shipment quantities are 6 grams of 100% GQDs powder and 1 litre of GQDs in solvent.
Dotz Nano Limited (“Dotz Nano” or the “Company”) , a nano-technology company focusing on the development, manufacture and commercialization of graphene quantum dots (GQDs), is pleased to announce that it has shipped its first commercial shipment of GQDs to South Korea.
The GQDs were shipped to Samchun Pure Chemical Co. Ltd., who will market and distribute the GQDs to the South Korean industrial market. Samchun is a privately held company of C&S Specialty Inc. that sells directly to first tier chemical consumers in South Korea.
GQDs were shipped both in liquid and powdered form. A total of one litre of GQDs in solvent and 6 grams of 100% GQDs powder were dispatched.
Whilst the initial amounts shipped will not have a material financial impact on the Company, the shipment is significant as Samchun Pure Chemical Co. Ltd sells directly to companies such as SK Chemicals, Samsung, LG and Hyundai, among others.
Commenting on the announcement, Dotz Nano’s CEO Dr. Moti Gross, stated: “As previously announced, Dotz Nano is continuing its commercialisation efforts by penetrating various markets that can benefit from GQDs and its superior attributes. Samchun is an important stepping stone for our GQDs due to their extensive interaction as authorised vendors to several large first tier industrial groups in South Korea for uses from displays to chemical products formulations.
This shipment is very exciting since it is the first shipment that will be put to the test in the very lucrative display market.
Again, as we are continuously seeing, Dotz Nano GQDs are applicable to a variety of applications and as such, our commercialisation efforts are expanding daily. We look forward to announcing future sales as they occur.”
