Dotz Nano Limited (“Dotz Nano” or the “Company”) , a nano-technology company focusing on the development, manufacture, and commercialisation of graphene quantum dots (GQDs), is pleased to announce that it has received its first major order of GQDs.

The AU$135,000 order was facilitated through Dotz Nano’s Japanese distributor for supply to Japanese and Pan-Asian companies in the anti-counterfeiting market and optical brightener for polymers. The quantity of GQDs remains undisclosed to protect company pricing policy. The GQDs will be supplied over the next three (3) months in both liquid and powdered form. Payment terms for the order are "Paid in Advance".

Dotz Nano continues to pursue its commercialisation strategy for the implementation of GQDs into the various application markets.

Commenting on the new development, Dotz Nano’s CEO Dr. Moti Gross, stated:

“After months of testing, validation, pilot studies and negotiations, I am very pleased to announce that Dotz Nano has received its first major order for GQDs to be used both in the anti-counterfeiting market and optical brighteners for polymer production”.

“The order consists of both blue and green GQDs and will be supplied over the next three months with materials being optimized for the various matrixes they are to be used in.”

“The GQDs bound for the anti-counterfeiting markets are aimed at being used in printing dyes to several companies involved in current anti-counterfeiting mechanisms, several of which, in my opinion, are aimed at the upcoming 2020 Tokyo Olympics. The GQDs for polymers are aimed at being used as optical brighteners for enhancing polymers for use in a number of products.”

Dotz Nano GQDs are currently being evaluated in over 60 different companies in a variety of applications all across the world, in North America, Asia, Europe and even Australia/NZ. Each of these evaluations have their own time schedule for contract sales, and the Dotz Nano team will continue their efforts for the successful commercialisation of our GQDs.

"The importance of this first order, is not only the revenue generated, but as a confirmation to other potential customers that GQDs are being commercialised and are suitable for use in product manufacturing. Dotz believes this will make future sales much easier as commercial risks are now significantly reduced".
