Dotz Nano Limited (“Dotz Nano” or the “Company”) , a nano-technology company focusing on the development, manufacture, and commercialisation of graphene quantum dots (GQDs), is pleased to announce that it has signed its first major purchasing agreement for the sale of GQDs with Colorplastic SA of Switzerland.
Colorplasitc, had recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Dotz Nano (see announcement released on 13/9/2017) that called for up to a six-month pilot project utilizing GQDs. With the successful implementation of the pilot, both parties agreed to enter negotiations on the establishment of a Framework Purchase Agreement for the purchase of GQDs.
Minimum Purchases
Pursuant to the agreement, Colorplastic has agreed to purchase US$300,000 of GQDs per annum. The price per kg is not disclosed in order to protect Dotz Nano pricing policy. Colorplastic’s purchase of GQDs is conditional on it receiving specific purchase orders for GQD enhanced polymers and plastics from its customers. Payment terms for Colorplastic’s orders are 30 days after invoicing, receipt of shipping documents and confirmation that the goods are in order.
Commenting on the new development, Dotz Nano’s CEO Dr. Moti Gross, stated:
“I’m pleased to announce an additional step in the commercialisation of our GQDs. After signing of the MoU with Colorplastic, we embarked on an expedited pilot project for implementing GQDs into a variety of polymers for use in various applications. After successfully achieving the pilot objectives ahead of schedule, we embarked on negotiations with Colorplastic to reach the Framework Purchasing Agreement (FPU)”.
“This FPU is important since it codifies, in most cases, the method that GQDs will be sold to the market, to tier 1 & 2 companies, that will implement the GQDs in their products that they in turn sell to OEM’s. Of course, these will require receiving purchase orders from OEM’s, but I am positive that

Colorplastic and others like them, would not agree to sign an FPU, if they were not confident of receiving purchase orders from their customers.
“As I mentioned in my last announcement this FPU is further proof of our ability to commercialise GQDs. We will continue to do so.”
“The GQDs used by Colorplastic will be used mainly for anti-counterfeiting markets, however they will also be applied to optical brightening markets. Colorplastic is an important part of the Company’s commercialisation process as they supply polymer products to a variety of OEMs including Swatch Group, BMW, Victorinox and others“.
“Once again, I remind our investors that Dotz Nano GQDs are being evaluated in over 60 different companies in a variety of applications all across the world, in North America, Asia, Europe and even Australia/NZ. Each of these evaluations have their own time schedule and I am excited at the potential of the continuing efforts of the Dotz Nano team for the successful commercialisation of our GQDs”.
“I look forward to informing the market of future contracts when they are executed”
