Exercise of Options

Donegal Investment Group Managing Director, Ian Ireland, has today exercised 69,450 options over ordinary shares of nominal value of €0.13 ("Ordinary Shares") in the Company at an exercise price of €0.31.  These share options have been cash settled by the Company in accordance with the provisions of the Company's 2005 Share Option Scheme (as amended).

Following the exercise of these options Ian Ireland has a legal and beneficial interest in a further 32,410 options over Ordinary Shares as well as a beneficial interest in 93,416 Ordinary Shares.
