(Oslo, 22 December 2023) Dolphin Drilling AS (Dolphin Drilling, OSE: DDRIL)
announces a Letter of Intent (LOI) for a 500-day drilling campaign with an
undisclosed operator in the UK.
Dolphin Drilling has signed an LOI for a 500-day drilling campaign in the UK for
the semisubmersible rig Borgland Dolphin. The drilling campaign is planned to
commence directly after the firm contract period with EnQuest Ltd, previously
announced. The contract value includes an upfront cash payment and a fixed
dayrate. With this announcement Borgland Dolphin has backlog throughout 2025 and
2026, plus further options with schedule flexibility.
