Apart from topical subjects, interested students find there specific information on study, literature, discussion fora and a marketplace offering access to more than 1,400 texts from various specialist areas. By acquiring a shareholding, antwerpes ag is strengthening its commitment to the fast growing healthcare market. DocCheck, the internet portal of antwerpes ag for the specialist medical profession, has in the past already supported individual projects of the students’ homepage as well as trade fair presentations. antwerpes wants to further intensify this close collaboration in future by means of its investment. Today, students can already use the broad range of information at www.dockcheck.de by means of a so-called DocCheck Study Password. Apart from extending the existing range of DocCheck services at the students’ website, there are plans for setting up a student shop for medical equipment. The investment of 150.000 Euro was made in cash. antwerpes has the option of converting the participating interest into a majority interest within two years. antwerpes ag has been listed on the New Market in Frankfurt since April 2000 (WKN 547100). Sales revenues of DEM 17.8 million are planned for 2000. The annual earnings results will be announced on 15 March.
