With sales totalling 3.2 million EUR, the figure was the same as that achieved in the 2nd quarter of 2002. As a result of the increase in gross earnings (+5%) and a further reduction in costs (-5%) in the 3rd quarter, profit before interest and taxes (EBIT) could be increased by 0.2 million EUR to 0.3 million EUR when compared to the first six months of 2002. This corresponds to an EBIT margin of 7% for the 3rd quarter and 3% for the first nine months. Profit before taxes, interest and depreciation charges (EBITDA) amounts to 0.9 million EUR (EBITDA margin: 9.2%) and the result from ordinary business activities is 1.1 million euro for the nine-month period. Profit per share amounts to ten cent. Funds to hand, when compared to the 2nd quarter of 2002, could be further increased from 29.1 million EUR to 29.4 million EUR. The share in liquid assets is now 4.99 EUR per share. antwerpes ag expects sales to total 12.8 to 13.0 million EUR for the whole of the year 2002.
