Sales in the third quarter of 2001 amount to 4.03 million EUR and therefore increased by 45 per cent compared with the same quarter in 2000. The company’s nine-month sales amount to 11.78 million EUR compared with 6.65 million EUR for the same period last year. This corresponds to a growth rate of 77 per cent. The earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) have increased by 198 per cent to 0.78 million EUR; and the earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) by 85 per cent to 1.64 million EUR. The group profit for the year comes to 1.31 million EUR (+304 per cent), which corresponds to earnings per share of 0.22 EUR (+271 per cent). Funds to hand have increased by 1.53 million EUR from 25.6 million EUR to 27.13 million EUR. According to the current forecast antwerpes ag will earn sales of 3.5 – 4.0 million EUR in the fourth quarter and therefore a total revenue for the financial year 2001 of 15.2 – 15.7 million EUR. This would correspond to a growth of between 47 and 52 per cent compared with the previous year. The company expects that both earnings and cashflow will remain positive for the whole year.
