DO & CO acquires Hédiard SA, Paris
DO & CO Aktiengesellschaft acquires from Luxury Investments SA 100% of the
shares in Financière Hédiard SA, the parent company of Hédiard SA, Paris.
Hédiard SA, founded in 1854, is one of the leading luxury grocery stores in
Paris with franchisees primarily in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
Hédiard SA has entered into insolvency proceedings under French law
("redressement judiciaire") in October 2013 and has, with the support of DO
& CO Aktiengesellschaft, submitted a Continuation Plan which today was
approved by the Commercial Court of Paris (tribunal de commerce de Paris);
this approval allows Hédiard SA to exit the insolvency proceedings and DO &
CO Aktiengesellschaft to take over 100% of the shares in Financière Hédiard
SA.
