EBIT: EUR 14.66 million
DO & CO – READY FOR INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION
DO & CO Restaurants & Catering AG today announced its results for business
year 2007/2008 (1 April 2007 to 31 March 2008) in accordance with IFRS. DO
& CO achieved total sales of EUR 354.62 million in this period, which
represents an increase of 71.9 % over the same period last year. Airline
Catering increased its sales for the period by a robust 104.0 %, from EUR
123.48 million last year to EUR 251.96 million. International Event
Catering reported a growth of 6.7 % for total sales of EUR 41.65 million
(previous year: EUR 39.04 million). Restaurants, Lounges & Hotel increased
sales by 39.3 %, from EUR 43.82 million to EUR 61.02 million.
The consolidated EBIT for the DO & CO Group after goodwill amortization in
fiscal 2007/2008 rose by 138.8 %, from EUR 6.14 million to EUR 14.66
million. EBITDA amounted to EUR 30.14 million (previous year: EUR 13.49
million) for an EBITDA margin of 8.5 % (previous year: 6.5 %).
AIRLINE CATERING – EBITDA and EBIT were both substantially higher than last
year. EBITDA totaled EUR 21.11 million, a rise of EUR 13.93 million against
the previous year. EBIT increased by EUR 6.66 million to EUR 9.25 million.
The EBIT margin in Airline Catering rose from 2.1 % in 2006/2007 to 3.7 %
in 2007/2008.
INTERNATIONAL EVENT CATERING – EBITDA for International Event Catering
increased to EUR 4.59 million (previous year: EUR 3.83 million). EBIT
improved from EUR 2.63 million to EUR 3.04 million. EBIT margin improved
from 6.7 % to 7.3 %.
RESTAURANTS, LOUNGES & HOTEL – EBITDA improved from EUR 2.48 million to EUR
4.44 million. This means an improvement of die EBITDA margin from 5.7 % to
7.3 %. EBIT grew from EUR 0.92 million to EUR 2.37 million.
STOCK – The Management Board will propose to the General Meeting of
Shareholders that a dividend of EUR 0.15 per share be distributed for the
business year 2007/2008.
