Final financial statements for 2009

The Board of Directors of DNO has today approved the consolidated financial

statements, the parent company's financial statements and the Board of

Directors' report for 2009. DNO's net loss for 2009 is NOK 269.6 million, which

is identical with the preliminary results released in the stock exchange notice

dated 17 February, 2010.

The Company hereby releases its audited annual report for 2009. The auditor's

report for 2009 is unqualified but includes an emphasis of matter. The annual

report is attached and it is also available on the Company's website www.dno.no

First quarter 2010

DNO will release the interim report for the first quarter of 2010 on 11 May. The

Company's production figures for the first quarter were released to the market

on 19 April, 2010. Based on this information as well as other information

currently available, the Company expects that its main financials for the first

quarter of 2010 will show operating revenue of approximately NOK 250 million,

EBIT of approximately NOK 90 million and a net profit of approximately NOK 10

million.
