BlackRock holds 2.85% of GILDEMEISTER Aktiengesellschaft

By letter of 4 September 2013 BlackRock, Inc., New York (NY), USA, has
informed us according to sec. 21 para. 1 WpHG, that their share of voting
rights of GILDEMEISTER Aktiengesellschaft, Gildemeisterstraße 60, 33689
Bielefeld, Germany, has fallen below the threshold of 3% as at 2 September
2013 and amounts to 2.85% (1,805,371 shares). Of these voting rights 2.85%
(1,805,371 voting rights) are to be attributed to them pursuant to sec. 22
para. 1 sentence 1 no. 6 in conjunction with sentence 2 WpHG.
