By letter of 4 January 2008 Financière de l'Echiquier, Paris, France has
informed us according to § 21 para 1 WpHG, that their share of voting
rights of GILDEMEISTER Aktiengesellschaft, Gildemeisterstraße 60, 33689
Bielefeld, Germany has fallen below the threshold of 3% as at 28 November
2007 and amounts to 2.9638%, which corresponds to 1,283,400 shares.

to § 21 para 1 WpHG, that their share of voting rights of GILDEMEISTER
