∙ रकार ने संकेत दिया है कि अगले महीने से बच्चों के लिए भी कोविड के टीके उपलब्ध हो सकते हैं। मीडिया रिपोर्टों के अनसार स्वास्थ्य मंत्री मनसुख मंडाविया ने मंगलवार को भारतीय जनता पार्टी (भाजपा) की संसदीय दल की बैठक के दौरान कहा कि केंद्र सरकार अगस्त से बच्चों को टीका लगाना शुरू कर सकती है। बच्चों के लिए कोविड टीके की शुरुआत अगले महीने से होगी या नहीं, इस सवाल के जवाब में स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय ने कहा कि क्लीनिकल परीक्षण जारी है और विशेषज्ञों के विचार के हिसाब से फैसले लिए जाएंगे।

स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय में संयुक्त सचिव लव अग्रवाल ने कहा, 'अगर परीक्षण के डेटा पर्याप्त होंगे तब विशेषज्ञ यह फैसला कर सकते हैं कि बच्चों को टीके लगाए जा सकते हैं या नहीं।' देश में टीका बनाने वाली दो कंपनियां बच्चों के टीके तैयार कर रही हैं जिनमें भारत बायोटेक और जायडस कैडिला का नाम है।

अहमदाबाद की कंपनी कैडिला हेल्थकेयर (जायडस कैडिला) अपने टीके जायकोव-डी के लिए भारतीय दवा महानियंत्रक (डीसीजीआई) की मंजूरी का इंतजार कर रही है। उसने 12 साल से अधिक उम्र के बच्चों को टीके लगाने के लिए मंजरी मांगी है और दुसरे चरण के क्लीनिकल परीक्षण के सुरक्षा और टीके के असर को सहने के स्तर से जुड़े डेटा भी जमा किए हैं।

जायडस ने 12 साल से 18 साल के 1.000 किशोरों पर किए गए तीसरे चरण के परीक्षण का डेटा भी हासिल कर लिया है। इन 1,000 वॉलंटियर का डेटा नियामक के पास

सरकार कोविन पोर्टल के जरिये जल्द ही उन लोगों के टीके का प्रमाणपत्र जारी करेगी जो टीके के परीक्षण का हिस्सा बने थे। स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय ने भारतीय चिकित्सा परिषद अनसंधान (आईसीएमआर) को एक विशेष प्रारूप में ऐसे लोगों की जानकारी इकट्ठा करने का निर्देश दिया है।

जिन टीकों को आपातकालीन इस्तेमाल के लिए मंजूरी मिल चुकी है केवल उन्हीं के परीक्षण में शामिल उम्मीदवारों को प्रमाणपत्र दिए जाएंगे। इनमें कोविशील्ड, कोवैक्सीन और स्पतनिक जैसे टीके शामिल हैं। जिन लोगों को प्रायोगिक दवाइयां दी गईं थीं उन्हें कोविन से प्रमाणपत्र नहीं मिलेगा। परीक्षण में शामिल प्रतिभागी अपने मोबाइल नंबर या कोविन अकाउंट के जरिये अपना प्रमाणपत्र डाउनलोड कर सकते हैं। जारी परीक्षणों में शामिल उम्मीदवारों को तब तक प्रमाणपत्र नहीं मिलेंगे जब तक इन्हें आपातकालीन इस्तेमाल के लिए मंजूरी नहीं मिल जाती है।

22 जिलों में बढा संक्रमण

देश में 132 दिनों के बाद कोविड संक्रमण के 30,000 से भी कम मामले दर्ज किए गए लेकिन पिछले चार हफ्ते के दौरान 22 जिलों में कोविड के मामलों में तेजी के रुझान दिख रहे हैं। जिन जिलों में 10 फीसदी से अधिक संक्रमण दर है उनकी संख्या भी पिछले हफ्ते बढकर 54 हो गई। इससे एक हफ्ते पहले 46 जिलों में 10 फीसदी संक्रमण दर थी। देश में कोविड की स्थिति पर संवाददाता सम्मेलन में नीति आयोग के सदस्य (स्वास्थ्य) वी के पॉल ने कहा, 'यह असामान्य लेकिन चिंता की बात है क्योंकि दसरी लहर अभी खत्म नहीं हुई है। हम भले ही थक चुके हों लेकिन वायरस नहीं थका है।' पिछले महीने जिन राज्यों के जिलों में संक्रमण के मामले में दैनिक स्तर पर बढोतरी देखी जा रही है उनमें केरल, मणिपुर, मेघालय, अरुणाचल प्रदेश, महाराष्ट्र, असम और त्रिपुरा जैसे राज्य शामिल हैं। पिछले हफ्ते केरल के 10 जिले में संक्रमण की दर 10 फीसदी से अधिक थी और सात जिलों में बढत के रुझान दिख रहे हैं जिनमें अलपुझा, कोट्टायम, महाबलीपुरम, त्रिशुर, वायनाड, एर्णाकुलम और पत्तनमतिट्टा शामिल हैं। स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय का कहना है कि राज्यों के साथ संक्रमण के मामले की शुरुआती स्तर पर जांच करने को लेकर चर्चा चल रही है। अधिकारियों ने भी कहा कि हालात को नजरअंदाज नहीं किया जा सकता है।

विपक्षी दलों की एकता लेगी आकार: ममता

तृणमूल कांग्रेस प्रमुख एवं पश्चिम बंगाल की मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी ने मंगलवार को कहा कि विपक्षी पार्टियों की एकता अपने आप आकार ले लेगी। राष्ट्रीय राजधानी दिल्ली के दौरे पर आई ममता ने प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी से भी मलाकात की और उनसे पश्चिम बंगाल की आबादी के आधार पर राज्य को कोविड−19 टीकों की और अधिक खुराक देने का अनुरोध किया। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री को पेगासस जासूसी विवाद पर एक सर्वदलीय बैठक बुलानी चाहिए और उच्चतम न्यायालय के नेतृत्व में जांच कराने पर फैसला करना चाहिए।
