SOUTH EAST GP<00726> - Share Consolidation Market participants are requested to note that the shareholders of South East Group Limited ("South East Group") have approved the consolidation of shares on the basis of 10 then existing ordinary shares ("Old Shares") of South East Group into 1 new ordinary shares ("New Shares"). Effective from today (26/10/2001), a temporary counter under stock code 2993 and stock short name "SOUTH EAST GP" will be established for trading in board lots of 200 New Shares each to replace the previous counter (stock code: 726) for trading in board lots of 2,000 Old Shares each.
