RESIGNATION OF DIRECTOR

The Board of Directors (the “Board”) of South East Group Limited (the “Company”) announces the resignation of Mr. Kwan Kei Chor, Samuel (“Mr. Kwan”) as executive director of the Company with effect from 8 May 2006 due to personal reasons. Mr. Kwan confirms that he has no disagreement with the Board and there are no matters that need to be brought to the attention of holders of securities of the Company in relation to his resignation. The Board wishes to express its thanks to Mr. Kwan for his contribution to the Company.

The directors of the Company as at the date of this announcement are Mr. Budiman Rahardja (Chairman) as executive director, Mr. Chen Zhi Yung as non-executive director and Mr. Lo Yuk Lam, Mr. Wong Kam Wah and Mr. Ng Chun Hung, Lawrence as independent non-executive directors.
