Change of Chairperson and appointment of two additional directors to the Board of the Company

The Board of Directors (“Board”) of South East Group Limited (“Company”) announces that Mr. Budiman Rahardja (“Mr. Rahardja”) was elected as the new chairman of the Board and Mr. Chen Zhi Yung and Ms. Chen Lee Mui were appointed as non-executive directors of the Company at a meeting of the Board held on 24th September, 2002.

The appointments take effect on 24th September, 2002.

All the directors of the Company (except Madam Cheong Swee Kheng and Mr. Yuen Ping Chiu for their personal reasons) individually and jointly accept responsibility for the accuracy of this announcement.
