COVID-19 Update

Directa Plus (AIM: DCTA), a leading producer and supplier of graphene nanoplatelets based products for use in consumer and industrial markets, notes the announcement by the Italian Government to close down all productive activity that is not "strictly necessary, crucial, indispensable, to guarantee us essential goods and services."  Directa Plus is classified as a chemical company in Italy and as such is exempt from any restrictions and will continue to operate its core business.

The Company continues to actively support the Italian authorities, at both local and national level, in their struggle to combat the Covid-19 emergency by making available its technologies.  Directa Plus's graphene is non-toxic and its bacteriostatic properties could be used in the production of medical devices such as masks, gloves and gowns to ensure better prevention properties for the spread of the virus.

Commenting, Giulio Cesareo, CEO and Founder, said, "Medical equipment enhanced by graphene could mean a safer working environment for the health workers and all citizens. In the health industry graphene is well known for antibacterial and filtering properties and we will continue to develop protective devices using our non-toxic G+ graphene to benefit our fellow citizens during this emergency."
