Direct Line Insurance Group plc ('the Group') is today holding an investor and analyst insight webinar, with members of the Commercial senior management team talking through the key elements of their strategy.

Commercial is the area of the Group furthest through its business transformation and demonstrates the Group's strategy of combining strong customer service and claims capability with a new technology and data architecture.

This strategy has enabled Commercial to deliver gross written premium growth of 15.0% in the first 9 months of 2021 and it accounted for 20% of Group gross written premium.

Today's webinar will outline how we have achieved this growth and why we believe Commercial is an important part of the Group's future growth ambitions:

1.   We operate a multi-product, multi-channel Commercial strategy, perfectly suited to cater to the breadth of commercial customers.

2.   We've transformed the Commercial business underpinned by new technology, data architecture and ways of working.

3.   We have a track record of success and have delivered top line growth alongside improved profitability across all areas of our Commercial business.

4.   Commercial increasingly serves as an innovation hub for the Group, for example building our expertise in the subscription and electric vehicle markets.

5.   With an estimated Commercial market share of 7% we are confident we can continue to grow profit and premium in an expanding market.
