Direct Line Group - Board Change

Direct Line Insurance Group plc ("DLG") announced earlier in 2023 that Jon Greenwood had been appointed as Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Company and, subject to additional regulatory approvals, would be joining the Board.  The approvals having been forthcoming, the DLG Board has appointed Jon to the Board as a Director with effect from 31 August 2023.  As announced on 30 August, Jon will remain as Acting CEO until Adam Winslow joins the Company and the Board, expected to be in the first quarter of 2024.

This announcement is made in compliance with the Company's obligations under Listing Rule 9.6.11.

No other information is required to be disclosed pursuant to paragraph 9.6.13R of the Listing Rules in relation to Mr Greenwood's appointment as a Director of the Company.
