DIRECTORATE CHANGE

Diploma PLC announces that Iain Henderson, Chief Operating Officer of Diploma PLC has indicated his intention to step down from the Board at the conclusion of the AGM in January 2016. After an orderly handover of responsibilities, he will retire from the Diploma Group on 31 March 2016.

Iain joined the Board in 1998 and was appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2005. In this role Iain has had a broad management role in the Group, with particular responsibility for guiding and developing the Seals and Controls businesses in the Group, as well as leading the business development activities of the Group.

Over the last few years, the executive management team has been substantially strengthened and this process will continue over the coming year with the establishment of a formal Executive Management Group which will report to the Chief Executive Officer.  Iain's responsibilities will be re-allocated across the wider leadership team and the role of Chief Operating Officer will not be replaced.
