Issue of New Ordinary Shares and Options

Sun Biomedical Limited ( SBN or the Company ) is pleased to announce that SBN, in conjunction with Patersons Securities Limited ( Patersons) , the Lead Manager and Underwriter to the Rights Issue, has raised $356,015 via the placement of the following New Ordinary Shares and Options:

• a) 35,601,524 New Ordinary Shares; and

• b) 17,800,762 Options exercisable at $0.02 expiring 30 November 2010.

These New Ordinary Shares and Options have been placed in accordance with the Shortfall under the Company’s Renounceable Rights Issue Prospectus dated 26 June 2008. This placement brings the total amount raised under the Rights Issue to $2,998,963.

In accordance with the Shortfall capacity under Rights Issue, the Company may place a further 17,820,000 New Ordinary Shares and 8,910,000 Options within a period of three months after the close of the Issue. The Maximum Subscription Amount under the Rights Issue is $3,178,963. SBN will advise ASX of the final placement amount once this has been completed.
