Pass Petroleum merger and Silverwood project update
At the Verus Investments Limited (ASX: VIL) General Meeting held on 22 September 2010, shareholders voted unanimously to approve the issue of shares to Pass Petroleum Pty Ltd (Pass), thereby allowing the proposed merger with Pass Petroleum Limited (Pass) to proceed.
The Company is now working closely with Pass management to finalise administrative procedures to conclude this transaction. It is expected that this will be completed shortly.
Golden Gate Petroleum (ASX: GGP), operators of the Silverwood Project, has today released the attached announcement regarding progress at their Silverwood project. On completion of the Pass merger, Verus will have a 30% working interest in this Silverwood project.
