Appointment of Non-Executive Director

DigitalX Limited (ASX:DCC and ‘the Company’) is pleased to announce the appointment of Toby Hicks as a Non-Executive Director. Mr Hicks has been appointed on an interim basis and will commence his role immediately.

In addition to fulfilling his board responsibilities, Mr Hicks will also assist in the identification and selection process for the appointment of DigitalX’s new Chairman, who will help lead the Company to its next phase of growth.

Mr Hicks is a partner at the West Australian corporate law firm, Steinepreis Paganin and brings extensive legal and corporate expertise to the DigitalX Board. He has more than 14 years’ experience advising public companies on matters of corporate governance, capital raisings and commercial transactions.

Further, Mr Hicks has served as a Governor of the University of Notre Dame Australia since 2002 and is a member of the Notre Dame Finance, Audit and Risk Committee and the Law School Advisory Board.

The interim appointment to the DigitalX board ensures the company is in a strong position to pursue its growth plans and capitalise on its opportunity.
