Verus Investments Limited - Board changes

The Directors of Verus Investments Limited (‘Verus’ or the ‘Company’) are pleased to advise the following appointments to the Board of Directors.

Effective immediately, Mr Andrew McIlwain and Mr Michael Montgomery have agreed to accept board positions with Verus, with Mr McIlwain to act as Chairman.

Mr McIlwain, a qualified mining engineer, has over 20 years experience in the resources industry. He has held technical, senior management and executive roles within Mount Isa Mines Limited, Central Norseman Gold Corporation Limited, WMC Resources Limited and Lafayette Mining Limited. Mr McIlwain brings operational and corporate experience in a variety of fields including establishment of operational sustainability, project development and both equity and conventional debt financing. He is currently Chairman of Emmerson Resources Limited and non‐executive director of Windy Knob Resources Limited.

Mr Montgomery is a geologist by profession and has 15 years experience in exploration and evaluation of mineral properties, having worked in a technical capacity for Goldfields at St Ives, KCGM at the Super Pit and others. He is principal of Geosure Geological Consultants Pty Ltd and as a Member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy has the appropriate qualifications, experience and independence to be considered a competent person as defined by Australian Valmin and JORC Codes and the Canadian Instrument 43‐101.

Resignation of Director.

The incumbent Chairman, Mr Dean Gallegos, has indicated his intention to resign as a director of Verus, effective immediately.

The Verus Board of Directors reluctantly accepts Mr Gallegos’ resignation and acknowledges his contribution to the company during his 4 years as Chairman and wishes him well in his future endeavours.

Going forward.

A number of investments are being considered by Verus and the Board anticipates being in the position of providing the market with an update on progress in the near future.
