ANNOUNCEMENT UNDER THE SECURITIES MARKET ACT, CHAPTER 9, SECTION 10

We hereby announce that Digia Plc has been notified, in accordance with Chapter
9, Section 5 of the Finnish Securities Market Act, of a change in the company's
ownership:

Pekka Päiviö Sivonen has on February 25, 2013 informed Digia that he has sold
1,653,860 Digia Plc's shares, as a result whereof the amount of shares in his
control has decreased under 5% of the shares and votes of Digia.

After said transaction Pekka Sivonen controls a total of 177,753 shares of
Digia, corresponding to 0.85% of Digia's shares and votes.

The share capital of Digia Plc comprises in total EUR 2,087,564.50 and
20,875,645 shares.
