ANNOUNCEMENT ON CONVENING INVESTOR BRIEFING SESSION

Trading in the shares of China Shipping Development Company Limited (the “Company”) has been suspended since 9:00 a.m. on Monday, 10 August 2015 and such suspension is continuing as at the date of this announcement. In order to strengthen communication with the investors, the Company will convene an investor briefing session on 9 November 2015 in accordance with the relevant regulations of the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

• I. Type of briefing session

The investor briefing session will be held online, during which the Company will conduct interactive exchanges and communication with investors and answer questions where appropriate.

1. Investors can log onto the “SSE Road Show” platform of Shanghai Stock Exchange (website address: http://roadshow.sseinfo.com) on 9 November 2015 from 4:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. to exchange interactively and communicate with the Company. The Company and the relevant personnel will respond to questions raised by the investors where appropriate.

2.
