Correction to announcement
Drill Results expand West mineralisation at the Anduramba Molybdenum Project
The Competent Persons Statement on the announcement made earlier today has been amended with the additional reference to “Mineral Resources”.
Competent Persons Statement
The information in this report that relates to Exploration Results and Mineral Resources is based on information compiled by Nicholas Mather B.Sc (Hons) Geol., who is a Member of The Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy. Mr Mather is employed by Samuel Holdings Pty Ltd which provides certain consultancy services including the provision of Mr Mather as the Managing Director of D’Aguilar Gold Ltd.
Mr Mather has sufficient experience which is relevant to the style of mineralisation and type of deposit being reported and to the activity which he is undertaking to qualify as a Competent Person as defined in the 2004 Edition of the ‘Australasian Code for Reporting of Exploration Results, Minerals Resources and Ore Reserves’ (the JORC Code). Mr Mather has consented in writing to the inclusion in this report of the matters based on the information in the form and context in which it appears.

ASX Announcement

Drill Results expand West mineralisation at the Anduramba Molybdenum Project
Highlights
-
A. High Grade extension to Molybdenum (Mo) mineralisation in the Western sector Hole 49: 58 metres (m) @ 0.101% Mo
-
B. Further confirmation of mineralised porphyry in North Western sector Hole 51: 76m @ 0.06% Mo & 4.3g/t Ag = 0.067% Mo Equivalent (Mo Eq)* Includes 14m @ 0.18% Mo & 12.8ppm Ag = 0.19% Mo Eq
-
Substantial Cu intercept (8m @ 0.3% Cu) in vertical hydro-geological hole Hole 52: 162m @ 0.056% Mo & 12.2g/t Ag = 0.07% Mo Eq * (refer footnote below regarding metal equivalence aggregation methods)
D’Aguilar Gold Limited’s wholly owned subsidiary, Anduramba Molybdenum has received assays for the last seven drill holes (RC46-RC52) of a 20 hole 3,303 metres reverse circulation drilling program at Anduramba, located 30km north of Toowoomba, south-east Queensland. Results have been positive – see highlights listed above.
Holes RC48 to 50 confirmed and extended the western mineralisation along the porphyrygranodiorite contact with significant high grade zones including 12m @ 0.15% Mo Eq in hole RC48; 58m @ 0.103% Mo Eq in hole RC49 and 10m @ 0.084% Mo Eq in hole RC50. Hole RC51 intersected the metasediment-porphyry contact in the NW and further established deep mineralisation; 76m @ 0.067% Mo Eq from 122m down hole including a high grade zone of 14m @ 0.19% Mo Eq, thus confirming that Anduramba molybdenum mineralisation is still open at depth.
Hole RC52 was drilled vertically within the central base metal anomalous zone of the porphyry, principally to facilitate hydro-geological studies. The entire hole reported 162m @ 0.056% Mo, 12.2ppm Ag & 372ppm Cu (0.07% Mo Eq) with a high grade intercept of 18m @ 0.11% Mo Eq.
Hole RC46 was drilled in the northeast of the prospect and intersected the granodiorite-porphyry host rock with high grade zones 2 to 6 metres thick and exceeding 0.1% Mo. Hole RC 47 in the south was un-mineralised.
The previous Inferred Resource estimate for Anduramba (refer ASX Announcement 2 July 2007) was 26.6 million tonnes above a cut-off grade of 0.03% Mo Equivalent averaging 0.07% Mo Equivalent. The recent drilling program is highly likely to enhance the resource, as a result of the intersection of significant mineralised zones at or above the resource grade, and beyond the current resource limits.
Location of these seven holes RC46 to 52 are shown in Figure 1, with the 2006 resource outline superimposed in green. The dotted blue envelope indicates the revised extent to mineralisation based on the latest drill results. An updated detailed resource estimation is in progress.

Assay results for the holes RC46 to 52 are summarised in Table 1.
With the data set now complete for all drilling programs, work has commenced with company consultants to develop an updated block model and undertake a Whittle 4D pit optimisation study. This is expected within six weeks. The resource remains open at depth underneath the high grade Mo, Ag and base metal intercepts.
Metallurgical test work has been continuing, with a new series of flotation tests on larger sample sizes to be undertaken as soon as additional large-diameter diamond core is available from three metallurgical test sample-holes to be drilled shortly.

Footnote regarding estimation and metal equivalents assumptions :
The company undertakes a composite assay analysis of every 2 metres in each drill hole.
Cut-off grades are based on Molybdenum Equivalence (“Mo Equiv”) and the inputs for this calculation are:

Where Mo = Molybdenum, Ag = Silver and Cu = Copper (all in ppm)
In the Company’s opinion all elements included in the metal equivalents calculation have a reasonable potential to be recovered, approximately in the proportions of 70% to 85% for Mo, 75% to 85% for Ag and 70% to 80% for Cu based on preliminary metallurgical testwork results to date. Recoveries may change as testwork proceeds. On this basis, the formula used to calculate Mo Equiv is as follows:
Mo Equiv = Mo + 7.88xAg + 0.1xCu
