Appointment of Company Secretary / CFO

The Board of Directors of international resource company creator, DGR Global Limited ( the Company; ASX: DGR ), are pleased to advise that Mr Geoff Walker has been appointed as Company Secretary and CFO of DGR Global to ultimately replace Mr Karl Schlobohm after a transitional period.

Mr Walker is a chartered accountant and member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He has 30+ years of commercial experience including as Chief Financial Officer of ASX listed Eagers Automotive Limited (APE), Range International Limited (RAN) and Kina Petroleum Limited (KPE). Mr Walker brings extensive experience formulating and executing strategic initiatives while managing change and growth.

DGR Global Chairman Mr Peter Wright said: “On behalf of the Board I would like to welcome Geoff to the Company, and I look forward to drawing on his vast experience in relation to the ongoing development of the DGR Global business. I would also like to sincerely thank Karl for his dedicated service to the Company over the past 12 years, and to wish him well for his future endeavours.”

DGR provides initial seed funding and management support to secure assets in subsidiaries and develop these assets to more advanced funding stages. The Company has a pipeline of projects in daughter companies at various stages of emergence, and in 2015 crystalised a significant return through the sale of its 15% holding in Orbis Gold for $26million. Further development of its holdings in LSE and TSX-listed SolGold and AIM-listed IronRidge Resources, ASX-listed AusTin Mining, NewPeak Metals and Armour Energy, and unlisted Auburn Resources and Armour Energy Uganda, are expected over the coming years.
