D’Aguilar Gold appoints General Manager to Anduramba Molybdenum PL

D’Aguilar Gold Limited (ASX Code: DGR) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Vincent Mascolo to the position of General Manager of Anduramba Molybdenum Pty Ltd, a subsidiary of D’Aguilar Gold Ltd. Mr Mascolo will assume responsibility for the ongoing detailed feasibility studies on the Anduramba Molybdenum project.

A non‐executive Director of D’Aguilar Gold Limited, Mr Mascolo holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mining) degree from the University of Wollongong, and is a member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and the Institute of Engineers Australia. He has over fifteen (15) years experience in construction management, most recently with the FRH Group Limited. Among recent achievements Mr Mascolo was Project Manager for the Gold Coast Airport Expansion, completing the establishment of new taxiways, extensions to the existing apron and runway on time, within budget and without a lost time injury. Prior to this project he was Operations Manager for the $75 million upgrade of the Jindabyne Dam operated by Snowy Hydro Limited.

Commenting on the appointment, D’Aguilar Gold Limited Managing Director Nicholas Mather said “We are very pleased to secure Vincent Mascolo to this position – over the coming year his knowledge and experience in construction of large projects will be invaluable in the detailed design and costing required for detailed feasibility studies. His appointment will also help free up D’Aguilar Gold General Manager Greg Runge to focus on Anduramba Molybdenum’s corporate development and progress the corporate and project development of other group subsidiaries Eastern Uranium, Central Minerals and Ridge Exploration.”

In recent months D’Aguilar Gold Limited has announced the appointment of Mr Ian Levy as Chief Executive of AusNiCo Pty Ltd and Mr Peter Spiers as Chief Executive of Mt Isa Metals Pty Ltd. Both these companies are being progressed to IPO and public listing over coming months, in line with D’Aguilar’s business development plans.
