Transaction in Own Shares

DFS Furniture plc ("DFS" or the "Group"), today announces that it purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of £0.10 each on Exchange (as defined in the Rules of the London Stock Exchange) from Jefferies International Limited pursuant to its Share Buyback Programme, details of which were announced on 15 March 2022.

DFS intends to retain the purchased shares in treasury.

Following settlement of the above purchase, DFS will have 258,636,720 ordinary shares of £0.10 each in issue (excluding 268,316 ordinary shares of £0.10 each held in treasury). This number represents the total voting rights in DFS and may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they can determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Group under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
