DFDS has today entered into a slot charter* agreement with Finnlines to service
our route between Russia and Germany. The agreement will come into effect from
11 October 2015.

As a consequence, the single freight ship that is currently deployed between
Kiel in Germany and Ust Luga/St. Petersburg in Russia will be deployed
elsewhere in DFDS’ route network.

The slot charter allows DFDS to maintain its office and organization in St.
Petersburg as well as continue to independently operate sales, customer service
and handling of cargo in port terminals related to the route.

With this agreement DFDS thus upholds its presence in an important market in
spite of the decline in trade between the EU and Russia.

*Lease of space on a third party ship deck.
