MAJOR SHAREHOLDER ANNOUNCEMENT

DFDS A/S' holding of own shares was on 6 January 2017 increased to above 5.0% of the Company's share capital, re the Danish Securities Trading Act § 29.

The increase in the ownership share is due to DFDS' ongoing share buyback of

DKK 350m that is expected to be completed by 6 February 2017.
