On 3 May 2013 DFDS announced its participation in the sales process for
Scandlines. DFDS’ bid for Scandlines was not accepted and therefore DFDS is no
longer part of the sales process.

DFDS continues to pursue a strategy of expanding the shipping and logistics
network through value creating acquisitions.
