DEXUS Property Group announces changes to Board of Directors
DEXUS Funds Management Ltd, as responsible entity for DEXUS Property Group today announces two new appointments to its Board of Directors, John Conde AO and Peter St George.
Chris Beare, Chairman of DEXUS Property Group said, “I am pleased to announce that John Conde and Peter St George have been appointed to the DEXUS Board of Directors. They bring a wealth of knowledge and experience, which will further strengthen the expertise of the Board”
Charles B. Leitner III has resigned from the Board of DEXUS Funds Management Ltd, due to his increasing work commitments as Global Head of RREEF. On behalf of the Group and Board, I would like to extend my thanks to both Chuck Leitner for his contribution to DEXUS over the past four years and to Andy Fay who has acted as Chuck’s alternate during the period. Following these changes, the Board will comprise eight Directors; seven independent Directors and our CEO.”
John Conde AO , currently Chairman of Energy Australia, BUPA Australia, Whitehaven Coal and Sydney Symphony Orchestra and President of the Commonwealth Remuneration Tribunal. John holds a number of pro-bono board positions including Chairman of the Australian Olympic Committee (NSW) Fundraising Committee. John was previously a Director of BHP Billiton, Excel Coal, Lumley Corporation and Optus and former President of the National Heart Foundation of Australia.
John will be joining the Nomination & Remuneration Committee and the Compliance Committee.
Peter St George , currently a Director of Boart Longyear and First Quantum Minerals (listed in Toronto and London). Peter was formerly a director of Spark Infrastructure Group and Chedha Holdings and Chairman of Walter Turnbull Chartered Accountants, a Director of SFE Corporation Ltd and acting Chief Executive/Co-CEO of Salomon Smith Barney Australia/NatWest Markets Australia.
Peter will be joining the Finance Committee and the Audit & Risk Committee.
