Sale of properties to materially increase trading profits

DEXUS Property Group (DEXUS) is pleased to announce that today it has entered into an agreement to sell 5-13 Rosebery Avenue and 25-55 Rothschild Avenue in Rosebery, NSW.

The total sale proceeds are $190 million, with trading profits realised in FY15 and FY16. It is expected that the sale will contribute approximately $17 million to FY15 trading profits and materially increase trading profits in FY16 contributing approximately $74 million pre-tax.

In addition, 50 Carrington Street, Sydney, is also under contract and is expected to contribute approximately $12 million to FY15 trading profits.

Further details relating to FY15 and FY16 trading profits, as well as FY15 earnings and distribution guidance will be provided in DEXUS’s 2014 Annual results to be released to the Australian Securities Exchange tomorrow, Thursday 14 August 2014.
