DEXUS Property Group announces new Executive appointment
DEXUS today announced the appointment of David Yates to the new position of Executive General Manager, Investor Relations & Communications with effect from 1 May 2012, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, Darren Steinberg.
Commenting on the appointment, Darren Steinberg said, “Following a review of our investor relations and communications team structure I am pleased to announce that David will be joining the Group to head up our newly merged team. David’s role will focus on improving the levels of service and quality of disclosure we provide to analysts and investors, further augmenting our activities.”
David has over 13 years’ experience in investor relations specifically in the Australian commercial property market previously as Head of Investor Relations and Corporate Affairs at Colonial First State Global Asset Management.
David has a Bachelor in Agricultural Business from the University of Adelaide, a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Escuela de Alta Direccion y Administracion (EADA), Barcelona, Spain, and is a member of the Australasian Investor Relations Association (AIRA).
