Group Finance Director

Devro, one of the world's leading manufacturers of collagen products for the food industry, today announces that Rutger Helbing will join as Group Finance Director on 4 April 2016.  Rutger will replace Simon Webb the current Group Finance Director who, as previously announced, will be retiring. 

Rutger is currently Group CFO of Element Six, the global leader in synthetic diamond supermaterials, a position he has held since 2013.  Previously Rutger has held senior positions in finance and general management with ICI / Akzo Nobel and Unilever.

With a postgraduate degree in finance from the Free University, Amsterdam and a degree in economics from Erasmus University, Rutger has managed finance functions during periods of significant growth and change at international businesses for over 20 years.

With Rutger now joining the board in April 2016, Simon Webb will leave the business in March 2016, once the 2015 statutory accounts have been finalised.
