Venturex Resources Limited (Venturex) (ASX: VXR) holds a portfolio of copper-zinc deposits in the West Pilbara region of Western Australia. Venturex is pleased to advise that the Company has commenced a 4,000 metre drilling program on targets in the Whim Creek region.

The RC drilling program has commenced in the Salt Creek area testing a range of RAB geochem, VTEM and geological anomalies on the Salt Creek trend including East Balla, Dough Boy and Salt Creek.

A second drill rig is about to commence diamond drilling within the Liberty-Indee JV area targeting extensions to the Evelyn deposit and surrounding targets. The initial drill target is a series of strong down-hole EM anomalies down plunge from the existing Evelyn Cu-Zn resource.
