ATLAS ELECTS TO CONSTRUCT HAUL ROAD

• Joint Haul Road will link Atlas’ Abydos Mine to sealed Marble Bar Road, via Venturex’s Sulphur Springs access road

• Completion expected ahead of Venturex’s requirements

• Reduces capital and maintenance costs for Sulphur Springs Hub infrastructure

Venturex Resources Limited (“Venturex” or the “Company”) (ASX:VXR) is pleased to advise that Atlas Iron Limited (“Atlas”) has provided an election notice to commence construction of the Haul Road under the terms of the agreement executed on 26 April 2012[1] .

“Venturex welcomes Atlas’ commitment to constructing the Haul Road as it provides the opportunity to advance the infrastructure for the proposed Sulphur Springs development ahead of our requirements, and substantially reduce the future capital and operating costs ”, said Managing Director, Michael Mulroney.

“The cooperation between Atlas and Venturex is an example of achieving joint regional outcomes where both parties benefit by reducing development costs and minimising environmental impacts,” he added.
