Resource Tonnes and Grade to Increase
Venturex Resources Limited (ASX Code: VXR) (“Venturex”) has received assay results for MCD007 , the fifth diamond drill hole in the recently completed metallurgical sampling program at the Mons Cupri copper-zinc deposit. The hole intersected:
15.7 metres @ 3.21% Cu, 0.48% Zn, 58.1g/t Ag and 1.64g/t Au [4.67% Cu EQ]
This intersection is approximately 125 metres down dip of previously reported intersections:
MCD003: 121.75 metres @ 1.24 % Cu [1.45% Cu EQ], including 23.7 metres @ 2.69% Cu [3.35% Cu EQ], and
MCD004: 102.7 metres @ 1.69% Cu [2.42% Cu EQ], including 60.75 metres @ 2.47% Cu [3.57% Cu EQ].
The true width of the MCD007 intersection is approximately 15 metres. The mineralisation is shallower (from 110.3 metres down hole), wider and higher grade than previous interpretations.
The higher grades intersected in the central and lower parts of the proposed open pit will further enhance the economics of the current Bankable Feasibility Study. To date, assay results have been received for four out of the five holes in the diamond drilling program. The Mons Cupri Resource will be recalculated when all assay results have been received.
Managing Director Tim Sugden said, “This is an excellent result and highlights the continuity of high grade copper in the lower levels of the Mons Cupri resource.”

Mons Cupri Cross Section 7690860mN
Exploration drilling of copper-zinc targets to the south and along strike of Mons Cupri is ongoing. RC pre-collars have been drilled to an average depth of 150 metres and diamond tails to test the VMS horizon associated with the Mons Cupri conglomerate is underway. The first two diamond tails intersected wide zones of conglomerate with localised alteration and minor sulphide mineralisation.
