MANAGING DIRECTOR TO STEP DOWN ON COMPLETION OF BFS

Managing Director, Tim Sugden, has today advised the Company that he intends to step down from his position in order to pursue personal objectives in Europe. He will remain in the role of Managing Director until completion of the Pilbara Copper-Zinc Project Bankable Feasibility Study, expected to be towards the end of first quarter of 2012.

In the interim, the Board will seek to appoint a suitably qualified successor to lead the Company through its next phase of development.

Venturex has recently expanded its Management and Staff, including the appointment of Ian Suckling at Chief Operating Officer, and is well positioned to achieve its primary objective of developing the Pilbara Copper-Zinc Project.

Chairman, Tony Kiernan said , “On behalf of the Board, I sincerely thank Tim for his work over the past three years. Tim was instrumental in the acquisition of the Brazilian gold tenements, exploration success at Liberty-Indee, acquisition of the Whim Creek and Sulphur Springs Projects, and the conceptual development of the proposed centralised processing facility.”

Dr Sugden said, “ I have enjoyed my three years at Venturex and I am pleased that, through effective exploration and consolidation, our team has established a resource base in the Pilbara large enough to support a significant new copper and zinc production centre. I look forward to remaining a supportive Shareholder as the Company completes the final steps in the development and commissioning of the Project.
